On December 7th, 2022, Epic began the rollout of Cabined Accounts, a new type of Epic account providing a tailored experience that is safe and inclusive for younger players using the Store or Launcher while also maintaining access to the gameplay they love in games like Fortnite, Fall Guys and Rocket League, for more information please visit here.
How to complete the parental consent process?
- After you receive the email to the email address provided by your child, you will need to click "Continue" to be prompted to accept the Terms of Service.
If you agree to the Terms of Service; you will be redirected to set the limitations for your child’s account.
You can now set your child's account limitations.
After setting up the limitations on the child account, you will be prompted to verify that you are an adult by either:
- Face Scan
- Credit or Debit Card
- ID Scan
Note: Additional options may be offered depending on the account's region. - Note: If your child's account is nameless, you will be asked to enter an email address and password for the account as an additional step.
Once you have completed the parental verification flow, you will receive the Parental Control Pin require for changes on any additional Parental Controls options.
- You will also be able to see that you successfully set the permissions for your child's Epic Games account.
